The Starting Point Kids Honored at Detroit Lions Game 7

Today, four Starting Point Kids were honored during the Detroit Lions game 7 at Ford Field. When the Detroit Lions visited Starting Point Montessori on November 18th, the Lions organization was so impressed by the students that they decided to honor Starting Point Montessori by including four Starting Point Kids in the Lions Game 7 "Goal Line Gang".

The "Goal Line Gang" is a group of children that get special Lions "Goal Line Gang" shirts and field VIP credentials. The gang gets to run onto the playing field before the professional players and form a line on the goal line during the singing of the National Anthem.

The four "Goal Line Gang" students from Starting Point Montessori, that were chosen based on scholastic achievement, were Sabrina Hicks; Josef Weaver III; Camryn Marcy-Hall; and Darryl Mathis II.

The kids and there parents had a wonderful time. It was amazing to get the VIP experience at Ford Field and to to have our kids be part of a once in a lifetime experience. And on top of this great experience, the lions won!!!
