On Friday, August 20th, the parents and administrators of Starting Point received a very special honor. We all were part of a private ride and drive of the all new 2011 Ford Fiesta. Parent Jackie Harper is a Ford employee and she won the car for 5 days as part of a Ford Social Media Contest so that she could treat Starting Point to our own private ride and drive event.
Mrs. Friday got to lead off the ride and drive and, for a minute, we thought she was going to do more than a simple drive around the block since she was totally loving the whole Ford Fiesta experience.
Everyone was loving the 2011 Ford Fiesta. Parents and school administrators commented on the vehicle color, the handling, the surprisingly roomy interior, and the Ford Sync capability. The car had a custom design on the sides and Ms. Harper explained that one of the Ford Fiesta options is personalized vinyl graphic wraps. This option, available at http://www.fordcustomgraphics.com/ gives owners the opportunity to make their vehicles stand out in the crowd. Ms. Harper also informed us about the Ford Fiesta's 9 air bags and 40 mpg fuel economy.
Each parent and school administrator got to do a test drive around the neighborhood with some folks being passengers on multiple drives since they did not want to get out of the car. We were all "styling and profiling" in the 2011 Ford Fiesta and attracting attention from everyone.
We all had a great time on the 2011 Ford Fiesta Ride and Drive and we all want to thank Ford Motor Company for giving Starting Point Montessori this special opportunity.
