The Starting Point Kids ended Black History Month on a high note with their Black History Assembly. The Starting Point Kids gave presentations on many famous African Americans from George Washington Carver to Spike Lee to Barack Obama.
After the presentations, the Elementary students did a Black History Jeopardy that the parents really enjoyed. Next, the Elementary students recited all 44 presidents from George Washington to our current president, Barack Obama, which was a lead in to Kindergartener Jacob W., who came out dressed as Barack Obama and recited one of President Obama's speeches. And to end the morning, the Starting Point Kids did an reenactment of the oath of office! The audience went wild, giving our new "President" high fives and much applause. What a great event!!!
